Wishing safe travels to everyone covered in snow this weekend! Winter is our favorite.
I shared some before pictures of my bedroom recently. Let’s just say it gave me the drive to actually do something about it. Those book cases were so gross and they seemed like the easiest place to start! Let’s say they’re not totally finished but I’m pleased with the start 🙂
Apologizes for the crummy, obvious night time photos.
‘Tis the day I have been waiting for! I get to reveal the coolest package I’ve gotten in the mail to date. 🙂 After reading Making Mondays‘ post about her Foodie Pen Pal back in September I decided to join the fun. Lindsay from The Lean Green Bean has fused food and meeting new people. Two thumbs up from this gal. 😉
This was my first swap as well as my FPP’s first, Giselle from I’m GisNik! She is super sweet and her blog is all about her life journey. Be sure to check it out! Here’s what she sent:
[Okay, so minor technical glitch…I had a cutesy picture of all the goodies she sent but cannot for the life of me find the SD card 😦 Instead, here is a little collage of what she sent and I’ll change the picture later when I can! Sorry to disappoint, loveys]
Everything is sooooo delicious! I tried the Kitchen Kettle Jams first on my toast. And I must have liked the Snackeroons an awful lot because my roommate said I was “smacking.” Oops! (BTW they are certified Vegan and Raw…aaaamazing!). I can’t find a good picture for the apple taffies 😦 I gave a couple to a trick-or-treater because I didn’t have any other candies! Trying not to eat those all at once 😉 She also made me an adorable flower pin out of gold duct tape. A great part of the program is emphasis on local foods and dietary needs of your FPP. Giselle did an amazing job watching out for my hypoglycemia…most things were gluten free! Holla! 😀
I absolutely loved participating in this program and can’t wait to do it again next month! You don’t even have to be a blogger to join in. There are a few conditions to keep in mind, so slide on over to her site and get all the information you could ever need:
If you plan on trying it out, please let me know! I would love to hear from you 🙂
