Musgrave Orchards in Hipstamatic Prints

This past weekend was so wonderful. My mom and I went antiquing (here) and to Musgrave Orchards and Cider Mill! Perfect way to spend these last few fall days. As soon as we walked in the smell of fresh apple cider hit me and I thought “this is totally what Heaven smells like. Jesus loves apple cider!” I mean for real. Here are a few pictures from the trip in hipstamatic prints:

Musgrave BarnInside this barn is a cider press over 100 years old! They use it daily to press thousands of pounds worth of apple into fresh, hot cider. And let me tell you, it’s deeeeelish.

The trip was such a blast. Some IU Jacob’s School of Music students were also there and sang happy birthday to one of the owners. If you haven’t been to an orchard this season I suggest you get to one soon! What are some of your favorite fall activities?!

Trick-Or-Treat: Candy Edition

Happy October! I’m pretty sure this is everyone’s favorite month. How can it not be? Halloween is just around the corner, leaves crunch under your feet, nothing is left untouched to pumpkin flavoring and you get to wear scarves….SCARVES.

I’m hoping to unleash a ton of fun, fall posts starting with my Trick-Or-Treat series! This is the first time I have lived in a neighborhood (I know, 23 years of life and I have never lived in a neighborhood…tragic) and I am so excited to dress up, decorate our porch and hand out some candy! For my first post this series, I want to share some awesome candy  ideas I’ve found around the blogosphere. 🙂

Easy to make candy ideas for Halloween! Check back for more great Halloween ideas in the Trick-or-Treat series!
